During BlizzCON 2026, Blizzard Entertainment previewed World of Warcraft: Midnight’s next major content patch: 12.2: Eclipse.
Game Director Ion Hazzikostas announced that from The War Within until now, the story felt disjointed because they were moving chess pieces into place. Now, all the pieces are placed and from here until the end of The Last Titan, it’s all foot on the gas to chase down and stop Xal’atath as she approaches the world core.
AdvertisementLastly, The Last Titan was NOT revealed because Ion stated that there would be massive spoilers if they talked about it, but once 12.2 concludes, we will get more information on The Last Titan, but they gave us a glimpse as what is to come.
