I recently had my birthday and my husband’s cousin gifted me Planet Zoo 2 which was a real surprise! We sometimes gift each other games, but the fact that out of my very very long list of wishlisted games, he chose exactly the one I wanted the most – and that I would not actually buy for myself – made me very happy!
I really enjoy playing Planet Zoo 1, but even though there are some really nice additions in Planet Zoo 2 (like real aquariums), I could not justify the price tag. This is especially true considering that we will be getting lots of DLCs on top as is usual for this developer (although not as bad as Paradox, but I digress…).
My husband will gift me Tropico 7 once it becomes available to purchase. Again: happy! However, both games aren’t out yet. Tropico 7 just postponed its launch to January 2027, and Planet Zoo is scheduled to release on October 13. So… I am here, twiddling my thumbs, basically.
And while doing that, I remembered that Big Ambitions officially launched not too long ago. After some very frustrating encounters with the driving mechanics of the car, I had decided to let this game rest until it officially released. So, now I am spending my time in Big Ambitions (walking or taking the scooter, because the driving mechanics for the car still drive me crazy!). I only have a tiny supermarket so far. We will see how far I get within the next month… or longer. How good is Frontier Developments at keeping their predicted release dates, I wonder…
