During BlizzCon 2026, the developers were on hand to reveal the next chapter for retail WoW, currently going through Midnight. In the next major content update titled Eclipse players will come face-to-face with Xal’atath as she attempts to reach her ultimate goal. Only the adventurers stand between her and the Worldsoul of Azeroth.
With the world’s and the last titan’s fate hanging on the precipice, players will need to confront her directly and stop her from claiming victory. The events of Eclipse will unfold in the worldcore, setting the stage for a revelation and conflict that will carry the Worldsoul Saga toward its final chapter in The Last Titan.
In The Last Titan, players will return to Northrend. In Ulduar, you will see the return of the Titans to Azeroth and uncover a vast conspiracy, one that will challenge everything you think you know about the Titans, their intentions, and their plans regarding Azeroth.
