JUJUTSU KAISEN RUMBLE: SURVIVATON, from the creator of Vampire Survivors and Shueisha Games, has been delayed into 2027 so they can get it right.
A new unique spin on the survivor-like genre with multiplayer and battle royale mechanics, it's sure to be an interesting one. So they can take all the time they need, I want it when it's ready. In an announcement on Steam they said:
"First, we have an important update for everyone who has been looking forward to the game. We had been working toward a 2026 release, but in order to deliver the best possible experience to players, we have decided to move the release to 2027. The entire team is working hard to deliver the best survivors royale experience possible and live up to your expectations, so we hope you'll bear with us a little longer!"
They also treated us to a new trailer that showcases the attacks of various playable characters and the pixel-art animations of all eight bosses. I'm especially keen to see how this "Unite Build" mechanic will feel, where you power-up your character as you progress and enhance your skills, while also incorporating techniques from other characters into your build to make a unique fighting style.
