Attack on Titan 3 Reveals MAPPA Anniversary Visual Featuring Eren, Mikasa

Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have revealed a new Attack on Titan 3 key visual created by animation studio MAPPA. The artwork marks the 17th anniversary of Attack on Titan ahead of the action game’s December 10, 2026, release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

The illustration serves as the key visual for Attack on Titan 3‘s opening animation. Eren stands in the background with his back turned while Mikasa, Armin, and Levi face forward, reflecting the conflict at the center of the later parts of the story.

MAPPA is producing the game’s opening animation, which Koei Tecmo previously confirmed will be added in a post-launch update rather than being available on release day.

Attack on Titan 3 covers the story from the Scout Regiment’s early battles through the conclusion of the series. Players take on the role of a Scout Regiment member and fight alongside familiar characters throughout major events from the manga and anime. The game continues beyond the story covered by Omega Force’s earlier entries and runs through the series finale.

As previously reported by Noisy Pixel, physical and digital editions are available for pre-order, including a Steelbook Launch Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition. Players with save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle on the same console will also receive additional in-game bonuses.

Attack on Titan 3 will feature Japanese voice acting alongside English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish text.
